LonelyID is an authentication system that provides you access from any Internet-enabled computer to all those web applications compatible with OpenID in a completely secure form, without having to remember a password, simply installing an app on your mobile phone.

LONELYID MOBILE

LonelyID Mobile is a mobile phone application that operates in conjunction with LonelyID identification service and provides you secure and easy access from any computer to all your favorite websites compatible with OpenID standard.

LonelyID Mobile periodically generates for you an 8-digit random password only valid for a short period of time, thus guarantees an easy and secure access to OpenID enabled websites.

EASY REGISTRATION

Register to LonelyID is pretty straightfoward. You can do it directly from your mobile phone. Install LonelyID Mobile on your phone and fill in the registration form with:

    Your new identifier
    Your email address

After completing this step, you will receive an email message that will be used to verify the ownership of your email account. PRETTY EASY.


HIGHLY SECURE

LonelyID provides a high security system:

  • secure and encrypted connection to the server.
  • auto-generated random passwods on your own phone.
  • LonelyID Mobile only connects to Internet during the registration process (after that, LonelyID Mobile operates completely offline with no need for external connectivity)

HISTORICAL RECORDS OF YOUR ACCESSES

LonelyID also lets you review historical access activity records to all your sites.

You will know, at any time, all accesses done with your LonelyID identifier.

NO NEED TO REMEMBER PASSWORDS ANYMORE

LonelyID Mobile generates random passwords directly on your mobile phone and only valid for a short period of time.

By installing LonelyID Mobile on your phone, there is no need for you to remember passwords anymore.

And your passwords will always be confidential and secure.

Did you lose your phone?

 
If somebody stole your phone or you lost it, don't worry. We have set up a secure key deactivation mecanism that allows you to deactivate the key stored on your mobile phone avoiding its misuse.

Once your key has been deactivated, you can always reactivate your identifier generating a new key in any other mobile phone using exactly the same identifier and email address you used in your previous registration.

How do I create an account?

The OpenID standard

 
The OpenID standard is a decentralized authentication mecanism that allows you to use a unique identity (unique username and password) to access to multiple web sites and web services without having to create a username and password for each one.

LonelyID is an OpenID service that goes a bit further so you will have NO NEED TO REMEMBER PASSWORDS ANYMORE.
